Activity of the day was a visit to the theatre to see The Very Hungry Caterpillar, an adaptation of the famous book by Eric Carle.  As the story is quite short, the caterpillar's entrance into the play was preceded by creatures, like seahorses and fireflies and their babies, from other Eric Carole stories. 

Seventy five puppets were involved and they were expertly manoeuvred.

The whole thing was magical.
